Azeri Turk Separatism: Is it True?

Robert Kaplan in "The Coming of Anarchy" points out that the rise tribalism in 21 century due to globalization and weakening of the state power is the biggest event for the new times. His prediction is entirely right. But he thinks the wars of tribalism happen outside state similar to Africa. In Iran we actually see the opposite trend. An Azeri Turk tribe has taken over the state in Iran and uses the state as the tool for its policies. This has led to a "centralized tribal state" in Iran.

The consequence of "Azeri Turk Centralized Tribal State" in Iran with access to oil revenues with a barrel of oil costing over 100 dollars, has been daily execution for other ethnic minorities in Iran. Those include Kurds, Baluchs, Arabs and others who being executed on a daily basis by the Azeri Turk tribal regime.

Once tribalism assumes a centralized state form, there is no reason for Azeri Turks to separate from Iran as their tribal demands can be met within the tribal state.

Anatolian Turks have a Pan Turk agenda whereby they want to unite all turks and establish some kind of political-economical European Union type political unit between them. They are very interested to have Azeris in Iran separate from Iran and join Turkey.

Anatolian turks look at different countries and try to find Pan-Turk political movements and try to promote and support these political movements. A good example is The Republic of Azerbaijan where they promote the ruling party under Aliev.

They follow the same policies in Iran. For example anatolian turks promote President Ahmadinejad who is a Azeri Pan Turk nationalist. Also anatolian turks think Azeris in Iran are of the same type of Azeris as those in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The problem with this analysis is that Azeri Pan Turkism in Iran not only does not consider itself as an ally of Anatolian turks, but it is a direct rival to Anatolian turks and have the same agenda for Turks in Caucasus and Central Asia although it calls its scheme for "Pan-Iranism".

Also Azeris in Iran have no desire to separate from Iran as long as they are a ruling force in the government of Iran. They can steal and get all the oil revenue and deny the same resources to all other ethnic groups. Turkey can not offer these resources to Azeris in Iran.

To explain "Azeri Turk Separatism in Iran" more directly is to say: "If you put a gun on an Azeri head and say separate from Iran, they will not do it". Why should Azeris separate from Iran??? Azeri Turks both in Azerbaijan and Tehran are stealing all the oil money. Baluchs and Arabs do not even have water well to drink water from. This is "Azeri Turk separatism" fraud scheme by the regime in Tehran. Not only Azeri Turks are not planning to separate from Iran, Azeri Turks are moving into different parts of Iran specially to oil rich areas in south and the Caspian Region to get control of these resources.

The real point is Azeri Separatism is a fraud scheme by President Ahmadinejad. His scheme is something like this: "Azeris are oppresed in Iran" so we should hand over all Iran's resouces to Azeri Turks. Also we should destroy all ethnicities in Iran so Azeri's are not offended. You can even see Azeri Turks talk about a scheme for "ethnicity conversion". Azeris are supposed to become "Persians". That is one side. The other side is Azeri regime in Tehran is taking over The Republic of Azerbaijan and also it is planning to impose its own version of Pan Turkism on Turkey. That is the Islamization of Turkey. So Azeri Pan Turkism in Iran poses a serious threat to the security of Turkey too.

That is why the general strategy that Anatolian turks have for other countries does not work in Iran. This constitute the basis of the alliance of Anatolian Turks and Persians in Iran. Only Persian political power in Iran will remove Iran as a Pan Turk rival to Turkey in Central Asia. It will also remove Iran as Pan Turk state which attempts to impose its version of Pan Turkism on Turkey in the form of Islamization or "Pan Azerism" or "Pan Iranism".

Who are the Turks?

Who are the Turks?

Azeri turks claim that the real turks are mongols. Uzbecks have an asiatic look and they are really turks. Azeris have a "caucasian" look and that is why they are not turks. They even go further and claim "Uzbecks are Persians who are mixed with Mongols". So who are the Turks?

There are about over 40 different types of Turks

Lets see starting from Eastern Europe and Anatolia there are Gagauz, Bulgarians Turks, Dobrujan Tatars, Turks of Greece, Cypriot Turks, Anatolian Turks, Iraqi Turkomans and the Crimean Tatars. In Western Asia and the Northern Caucasus region, Azeris, Iranian Azeris, Khalaj, Qashqai(Turkish speaking Persian-Parthians), Iranian Turkmen, Balkar and Karachay, Nogay, and the Kumuk. In Central Asia theres Afghani Uzbeks, Afghani Turkmen, Uzbeks, Turkmen, Qazaqs, Karakalpaks, Kyrgyz, Uyghurs, Salars, Sari Yugurs. In the Volga Ural region there are Tatars, Bashkirs, Chuvash, Siberian Tatars. In Southern Siberia there are Shors, Altay Kiji, Telengit, Teleut, Tuba, Kumandi, Chalkandu, Khakas, Tyvans, Tofa, Tsengel Tuvans and the Dukha. Finally in Northern Siberia and Easter China, Sakha, Dolgans and the Fuyu Kyrgyz.

Bulgarian Turks and Anatolian Turks may speak the same or similar language but they are different types of Turks and have different modern histories as well as different identities.

Quote:ones that live in central asia who have an oriental feature to them tracing them to be direct decendents of those of Mongolia and those of Turkey who have a very Caucasian feature to them.

I was thinking that the original natives of Anatolia (hitties, Lydians, etc...) where forced into speaking turkish when the Seljuk Turks had control of the area, which we have noticed to be true with the Azari's who are of Iranian origin but were forced into speaking Turkish.

Its important to understand that you cant force people to change their language. UNLESS you take them away from their own cultural environment away from their own people and only teach them a different language. Otherwise so long as they have native speaking mothers, fathers, friends and neighbours their language will not change. Any change in language that took place would have happened without force as a result of Turkish cultural and political domination. This is further backed up by the fact that many languages are spoken in Turkey today, such as Laz Hemshin, Zaza, Kurdish etc.

There was no "forced" Turkification by the Seljuks just as there were no Hittites or Lydians in existance by the time the Turks had arrived.

Ethnic Turks in Turkey are Turkish. One of many different "types" of Turks.

Let's clear up a few misconceptions.

Turks arn't Mongols, the early Turks lived in a region including Western Mongolia, Altai-Sayan region (todays Russia, Kazakistan) and the northern parts of Eastern Turkistan.

The present day Mongols were not living in that region during that period.

The early Turks inhabitted a region of the world in which to the East of them populations are more Mongoloid and to the West more Caucosoid (even though these terms are pretty archaic today). Chinese sources differentiate Turks from themselves and observed that the "looked different".

Thus the Turks being inbetween have characteristics from both, if you actually went to Turkic Central Asia historic Turkistan you would realise that Turks there are different looking Turks.

There are peoples in Northern Afganistan, Oz'bekistan, Turkmenistan who look similar to Turks in Azerbaijan or Turkey, then there are some Turks in Kazakistan and Kirgizistan who you will find don't look similar.

Quote:we have noticed to be true with the Azari's who are of Iranian origin but were forced into speaking Turkish

Which we? who is we, show me one credible scholar who supports this absolutely ridiculous claim.

The Turks of Iran are Turks, what is "Iranian origin"? there are Arabs, Persians, Kurds, Baluch, Turks in Iran so what are you implying by Iranian origin.

According to your logic, Persians are of Elamite origin but were forced into speaking Persian.

Also Azeri Turks were never "forced" into speaking Turkish, in case you didn't know, the Seljuk state languages of governance were Arabic and Persian.

Mongolian languages is not even in the same family as Azeri Turkish language. You can see this in the following language map.

Now are you going to tell me that the Seljuks came and magically some people just learned Turkish? they didn't learn Turkish in schools, it wasn't the language of governance, it wasn't the language of law but somehow despite all of this millions of people just said, you know what we'll just become Turks?

They are Turks due to the Oghuz Turk clans which migrated to the region and never lost their language, identity, clan structure etc.

When the Seljuk state ended, many Beyliks and Atabeyliks were found, each by various Oghuz Turk clans, this pattern could be witnessed across Iran and Turkey.

Iran's Kurdish Threat: PJAK

By James Brandon

PJAK's official logo, as shown on their website.
As Iran faces international pressure over its nuclear program, Tehran is growing increasingly concerned by the internal threat posed by a resurgent Kurdish national movement led by the Party for Freedom and Life in Kurdistan (PJAK). In 2005, according to the Iranian government, PJAK killed at least 120 Iranian soldiers in Iran. In 2006, PJAK may exceed this total. Already, it has launched dozens of attacks both from its camps in Iraqi Kurdistan and from its underground cells in Iran itself. In one of its latest attacks, PJAK troops killed four Iranian soldiers on May 27 in a clash near the town of Mako in Iranian Kurdistan, the PKK's Roj TV reported. PJAK, however, regards its military operations as merely complementing its wider effort to build a new Kurdish national identity among the four million Kurds who make up seven percent of Iran's population. PJAK has around 3,000 troops based in northern Iraq, but claims tens of thousands of activists working inside Iran to promote a Kurdish identity, democracy and women's rights [1].

As the confrontation between Iran and the West escalates, international attention has increasingly focused on Tehran's internal vulnerability. In particular, analysts point out that Iran's "imperial" past has resulted in ethnic Persians—who make up scarcely half of Iran's 80 million people—holding disproportionate power, wealth and influence. If the crisis with Iran escalates further, Iran's neglected and often resentful Kurdish, Azeri and Arab minorities may increasingly play a key role in global events. At the forefront will likely be Iran's Kurds, and chief among them PJAK, which for nearly a decade has worked to replace Iran's theocratic government with a federal and democratic system, respectful of human rights, sexual equality and freedom of expression.

What is "Iranian"??

Azeri Turks try to redefine the concept of "Iranian" from "Iranian as a citizen of Iran" into "Iranian Race". This way Azeris can include themselves into an imaginary history of Iran.

Azeri view of "Iranian"

The argument about who is a real Iranian and who is not is a fraud. It is a wedge tactic by those who want to divide us to rule us. Yet we are stupid enough to fall for it repeatedly and never learn from our mistakes.

You can not love Iran without loving Iranians. I love Azeris, I love Bahais, I love Bahai Azeris because they are all Iranian ["Heechee kam nadaaran", "Politicizing linguistics"]. It should be our collective shame that we stood by, beit freightened for our own safety, while evil persecuted our Bahai compatriots in our name. Shame on them for spilling the blood of Iranians. Shame on us for not acknowledging their suffering.

And who can question the commitment of the Azeri people to this nation when in recent history they have always saved Iran in her darkest hour of need. From the Safavid Kings of Persia (from Ardebil) to Sattar Khan and Bagher Khan of the Constitutional Revolution. If our orphaned brothers to the north of Aras want to come back to the fold of the Iranian family we should welcome them with open arms.

There is only one prerequisite for being Iranian and that is to love Iran and its beautiful and rich culture. The army of Ahriman can never destroy us for:

Cho Iran Nabashad Tan e Man Mabad
Bedin Boom o Bar Zendeh Yek Tan Mabad
Agar Sar be Sar Tan be Koshtan Daheem
Az An Beh ke Keshvar be Doshman Dahim
Dareeghast Iran Veeran Shavad
Konam e Palangan o Sheeran Shavad

Azeri Turks Cultural Utopia

Azeri: on "Iranians":

WE ARE ALL IRANI... I dance kordi and turki and understand a bit of it... but i was born in tehran (not that there is anything special about that... i wish i was born in different province)... none of my family is from shahrestan... why do you wanna divide... no offense but its ppl like you who wanna break up iran apart...

kords, baluch, bakhtiari etc. have different CUSTOMS... but our culture is the same... cutoms and culture are too different things... i love to learn about your custom... so teach me instead of keep saying that your are different... let me understand you... dont tell me i dont tell me you are diffent so i dont understand you...

and the ethnic tension... there should be none... everybody is equally abused under the current regim...

iran is no different than usa... so why do we keeping saying oh...im tork.... im kord... im different... we are all IRANI..

Persians: on "Iranians":

you know nothing about me, do you even know what you're talking about? When did I want to seperate Iran? Different customs make different cultures. Iran is multi ethnic and multi cultural, you can never put them all into a blender and achieve cultural utopia, that is a fact.

The best thing that can be done is to educate people about others; teaching them mutual respect, of course official language should be Persian.

The US is a mess, can you imagine if the economy turned third world? The country would seperate in an instant along racial lines.

The Iranian Race

By "politicizing Linguistic" Azeri Turks mean that there is an "Iranian Race" in Iran and they only speak different languages. "Somebody" is trying to create conflicts between "Iranians who speak different languages".

This view of "Iranian" was the official view under the Shah's regime. The consequence of assuming an "Iranian Race" led to the establishment of Azeri Turk Republic of Iran in 1979. The natives of Iran had a blind view of the question of ethnicity and regarded everybody as a native of Iran. Azeri Turks who have a tribal ethnic culture could easily capture the state power by hiding themselves under the label of "Iranian". This resulted in massive loss of life for the natives who were executed on a daily basis in Iran after the "Islamic or Azeri Turk Revolution in 1979". The slogan "We are all Iranians" has actually turned out to be "We are all Azeri Turks".

Azeri Turks Racial Policies in Iran

Azeri Turks Migration in Iran

Azeri Turks pursue a racial agenda in Iran and that is to create some kind of "Iranian Race" in Iran using the natives of Iran for the "Aryanization of Azeri Turks into Aryans". Azeri Turks have migrated into the Caspian Region and South and South West Iran: Also Azeri Turks are planning to move their capital from Tehran to Isfahan in central Iran. This is a copy of Saffavids Azeri Turk dynasty in 15 century whereby they moved their capital from Tabriz to Isfahan.

To explain what is the Azeri regime in Tehran one have to compare them to the Nazi Germany. The Azeris nationalist have dropped the banner of Islam a long time ago. They are replacing Islam with Pan-Turkism and "Iranian Nationalism". Their Pan-Turkism is labeled "Iranian Nationalism" which they claim is the same as "Persian Nationalism".

For Azeri Turks "Iranian race" is equal to the citizens of Iran. They call all citizens of Iran as members of the "Iranian Race". Anybody question their policy and state that they are not turks and identify his ethnic affiliation in Iran such as Kurds, Lurs, Persians, Baluchs etc, are branded as "separatist". Azeris will claim that there are no ethnic groups in Iran and everybody in Iran is half Azeri Turk. Azeri Turk sponsors in US have also made genetic charts showing all "Iranians are Turks".

Unlike the Nazi Germany which believed in the superiority of German Race, the ruling Azeri regime in Tehran believes in the inferiority of the Azeri Turkish race. This is nazism in reverse. So they believe that to "improve the Azeri race" they mix Azeris with the natives of Iran. One of their special targets are Kurds and Persians which they force to move to Tehran. They officially call this agenda for "The Aryanization of Azeri Turks into Aryans".

Azeri Turks have have migrated into Gilan, Mazandaran, Kurdistan, Luristan and Massive migration of millions of Azeris into Khuzestan. Arabs in Khuzestan are executed on a daily basis. Also significant Azeri Turk migration into Mashhad area in Khorasan.

It is not clear what is Azeri Turks business is in these areas. But an Azeri Turk summarized it as the following:

"Iran is not a tribal country anymore. We are a beautiful Azeri Turk Iranian Nation."!!!!!

Ethnicity Conversion Azeri Style

"Ethnicity Conversion"

Ethnicity conversion is a scheme by Azeris to be able call themselves "Persians" so they can acquire the whole history and cultural heritage of Persians for free. This will enable Azeri Turks to become a ruling tribe. Azeri Turks have captured state power in Iran many times but lack of Persian identity have always led to their downfall. Azeris want to solve this problem once and forever.

Ethnic Conversion Azeri Style:
"I think the ethnic issue should be solved once and for all,and how you do it is by introducing a law that lets people convert into a persian ethnicity if they want to,just like how America converted it's european german,Irsih, scottish, french etc etc immigrants into an American identity. Now the converting part will be even easier for Iran, becouse most Iranian tribes and groups are pretty much the same in culture, language, history, behaviour, tradition, and even the Iranian Qashqais and Azeris don't even consider themself turkish anymore, becouse it is pretty obvious that they were turkified, even a moron could see that they don't look like turks, which turks are an asian race, and most of Iranian Qashqais and Azeris have a persian/Iranic culture, mentality, and behaviour. The only small minorities that would be hard to assimilate would be some kurds, baluchs, and arabs. this is why I believe they should be givin very small lands."

Persian as a cultural identity:
Azeri Turks claim there are no Persian ethnicity in Iran and to be Persian is only a question of language and culture. They point to the fact some Persians look different from other Persians. They go even further and call everybody in Iran for Persian. The only difference is between "South Persians" and "North Persians". The ones in south have darker skin and the ones in north have lighter skin due to hot climate as Azeris claim. Azeris claim they are "Northern Persians". Azeris claim that Azeri Turks are converted into "Persian Ethnicity" by transfering "Persian Culture" to Azeris. .

Religion as Ethnic Identity:

Azeri Turks want to use religion as a tool for ethnicity conversion. Azeris have started to claim religions who were exclusively the religions of the natives of Iran. Azeris claim to be "Zoarastrian", "Jew", and "Bahai".

Azeris claim that "Zoarastrian Azeri" is a "Persian Azeri". This way Azeris have "changed" their ethnicity

"Azeri Bahais, Azeri Jews and Azeri Zoarastrians" should be regarded as three new businesses opened recently by Azeris for further fraud.

In Europe to be German, British or French requires a lot. Even after 100's of years you do not qualify to be called a real European. Azeri Turks expect to be handed over the whole Persian Culture and history Heritage for free. "We are all Iranians" which they are screaming all over internet means "We are all Persians".

Zoarastrianism and Azeri Turks

There is no conversion to Zoarastriansim

As such, there was no "conversion", because the Aryans of Iran were already Mazdayasnis when Zarathushtra came, and Zarathushtra was RE-REVEALING THE ORIGINAL FAITH, along with the AGUSTO VACHO - previously unheard of words of Ahura Mazda, such as the most powerful Ahunavar (Yatha Ahu Vairyo). The Fravardin Yasht also says that the Righteous of every nation in this world are present in heaven in the form of Glorious Fravarshis. Thus, the Righteous of every religion go to heaven, all religions are equal, and it is folly to convert. Conversion goes against the Master Law of Ereta (righteousness) itself, because God has given us birth in our respective religions, to adore Him in them, and not to mistrust His Judgement and rebel and go over to another faith. For, each faith leads ultimately to God. Thus, the Zarathushtris do not convert other people, but they rely on MARRIAGE WITHIN and INCREASED CHILD BIRTH to increase their numbers.

Marrying, Zarathushtri man or woman, to a Zarathushtri only is commanded in our religion in the Vendidad, to preserve the spiritual strength of the Aryan Mazdayasni religion, and the ethnic identity of the Zarathushtri Aryans. For the Zarathushtri, ethnic identity and religion are synonymous, as declared in the Vendidad by Ahura Mazda Himself - the Mazdayasni faith was revealed by Ahura to the Aryans under King Jamshed, thousands of years before Zarathushtra, and was meant only for the Aryans of Iran
